How can I try to become a Blue Man? The Blue Man Group Casting team is constantly looking for talented performers to join the Blue Man Group cast. Members of our casting team travel to a variety of cities year round to conduct casting calls and casting appointments. Blue Man Group tries to adhere to environmentally friendly business practices, and therefore we prefer to accept submissions online rather than by mail. To send in your materials, you may send your resume and headshot to casting@blueman.com or mail to: What happens when I submit an application? A member of our casting team reviews each submission. Due to the volume of submissions we receive, we are not able to contact every applicant. After evaluation and consideration of the submission, we will contact people we are interested in seeing for an audition. We will always try our best to coordinate an audition when the casting team is doing a national casting call in a city near you. When will Blue Man hold a casting call in my city? The casting team frequently visits the cities where Blue Man Group productions currently exist: Boston, Chicago, Las Vegas and Orlando. We hold auditions by appointment year round in New York and Los Angeles. Please refer to our casting call page for the most up to date information. What are the auditions like? All auditions begin with a private interview or screening with a member of our team. If you are selected to move on to the next step of the process, you will typically complete a brief drumming audition followed by a brief acting audition. This phase allows us to assess the technical skill sets of the performer, along with his/her Blue Man artistic potential. We also pay close attention to the individual Where would I work? Blue Man Group is currently running in New York, Boston, Chicago, Orlando and Las Vegas, and we also have several international productions. Placement is based on a number of criteria. What does it mean to be a Blue Man? Once a performer has completed the audition and training phase of their journey, the real adventure begins. What is it like to work for Blue Man Group?
